Finance Assistant (Part Time)
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced part-time Finance Assistant to join our fast-growing organisation.
The post holder will provide accurate, timely and efficient accounting support, taking responsibility for a range of duties under the direction of the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Requesting and reconciling supplier statements against our ledger.
- Maintaining and updating Excel spreadsheets to track expenditure.
- Posting supplier invoices and credit notes to the purchase ledger.
- Performing daily bank reconciliations.
- Posting and allocating receipts to customer accounts.
- Managing debtors and contacting customers in line with payment terms.
- Generating and sending sales invoices.
- Sending copy invoices and statements to customers.
- Raising customer credit notes.
- Responding to customer queries and maintaining customer relationships.
- Providing administrative support to the finance team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Relevant previous finance experience.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Xero would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
Hours: Part time, minimum 22.5 hours per week.
Location: Hybrid working.

Head of Nursing, Quality and Governance

The Role
As Pioneer's Head of Nursing for Quality and Governance, you will be the organisation's senior nursing professional and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, attending Executive Team meetings and, where required, Board meetings.
You will lead the development and delivery of our clinical governance framework, ensuring services are safe, effective, patient-centred and compliant with NHS contractual requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the clinical governance framework.
- Provide professional nursing advice to the Executive Team and Board.
- Lead incident investigations, complaints management and patient safety reviews.
- Support implementation of PSIRF and Duty of Candour requirements.
- Maintain oversight of clinical risks and the corporate risk register.
- Lead clinical audit and quality improvement programmes.
- Oversee contractor governance and workforce assurance arrangements.
- Support compliance with CQC, NHS England and safeguarding requirements.
- Prepare the organisation for inspections, audits and commissioner reviews.
- Build strong relationships with NHS commissioners and provider organisations.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Significant post-registration clinical experience.
- Senior leadership experience within NHS or NHS-funded services.
- Extensive experience in governance, quality assurance and patient safety.
- Experience of incident investigation and risk management.
- Strong understanding of NHS regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within elective care services.
- Experience working with independent healthcare providers.
- Experience supporting CQC inspections and commissioner assurance processes.
- Knowledge of NHS commissioning and provider arrangements.

Medical Administrative Secretary
Location: Pioneer Healthcare Office, Sheffield

Purpose
Provide confidential, high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the clinical team. Coordinate patient pathways and correspondence within required timescales, acting as a professional first point of contact for patients, staff and external organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for patients, staff and external organisations.
- Coordinate clinic administration including clinic letters, GP correspondence and follow-up actions.
- Process clinic outcomes and MDT actions promptly.
- Type urgent and non-routine medical correspondence within agreed timescales.
- Support delivery of the RTT 18-week pathway through effective administrative management.
- Maintain accurate patient records on relevant patient administration systems.
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to consultants and clinical teams.
- Manage enquiries from patients, GPs and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide administrative cover during periods of annual leave and sickness absence.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all organisational policies and standards.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required.
